Organism remarks Cap: 9-17 mm diameter, convex (almost conical) then broadly convex, finally plane with peaked umbo, bay (19) with lighter brown margin, hygrophanous. Margin thin, initially with light veil remnants appressed on edge. Flesh: thin, loosely stuffed, buff. Gills: adnate, close, two sets of lamellulae, brown (lighter than umber, 18), edges broad, fimbriate, faces with dense stippling of cystidia. Stem: long. slender, 25-30 mm long, 1.5-2.5 mm wide, bay (19) becoming lighter with maturity, tan veil remnants about midway on stem, thick fine scales on surface below cap then sparse near veil remnants and below, longitudinally fibrous. Flesh: thin, hollow, brown, long fibrous. Odour: earthy.
