Occurrence remarks Cushion-like succulent sub-shrub to c. 40 cm wide x 12 cm high. Leaves mealy; calyx green, flushed pale red-brown; corolla white; nectaries deep yellow; anthers before dehiscence deep red-brown; filaments and carpels white. Flowers fragrant - like honeyed marguarite (Argyranthemum frutescens). Abundant (many thousands of plants). Mostly confined to plantation strip c. 30 m long, but small outlier populations upto 200 m south.

Habitat
Supplied as "In Eucalyptus cladocalyx plantation adjoining road reserve; soils red-brown loam (high level alluvium). This species is the dominant field layer vegetation. Associated spp: Austrostipa scabra, Atriplex semibaccata, Enchylaena tomentosa, Maireana decalvans, Lycium ferocissimum, Galenia pubescens, Einadia nutans."
