Occurrence remarks Small tree to 5.4 m high. 5 stems in collection area, sporadically observed in upper Blue Mountains. Stems clothed in old dead leaves, unlike cultivated plants. Leaves to 108.5 x 3.25 cm. Dark green. Tip acuminate, often brown. Base white/pink and flared to ca 7 cm to clasp stem. Inflorescence ca 70 x 70 cm, broad spreading panicle (ultimate branches to 28 cm long with young branches of their own) ca 10000 small, etc.
