Event remarks Adventive following dumping of garden waste in past. Rosette succulent, vigorously suckering. Maculated leaves. Bunched orange-salmon flowers on branched spikes to 1m tall. Roots and sap yellowish. No fruit pods seen. Forming a thin strip about 2m wide x 5m long, apparently spread further by mechanical attempts to remove this plant.

Supplied as "Narrow road verge. Plants growing in an ironbark, Acacia salicina, Eucalyptus tessellaris, Eucalyptus tereticornis semi-riparian area with Cenchrus ciliaris dominating the ground flora. Soil sandy-clay. Disturbed in past."
