Occurrence remarks Locally frequent. Small shrub to c. 1 m tall; one main stem with side branches from c. 10 cm. All plants young. Numerous seedlings present along roadside bank. Flowers pale pink, darkening to red-pink with age. Only immature fruit present. Infloresence matures from tip downwards. All specimens of EAB 97/50 from different plants.

Habitat
Supplied as "Roadside bank and seepage area. Eucalyptus with understorey of Acacia, Allocasuarina; with Sticherus, Gleichenia, Lomandra and various sedges immediately adjacent. Growing on brown/ornage clay but substrate in area is a conglomerate composed of metamorphic pebbles."
