Occurrence remarks Tree ca 10 m high with +/- turbinate crown. Bark rather corky, coarsely striate, greyish-fawn, blaze yellow-cream. Wood yellow-cream. Bark with bitter taste. Leaves rather glossy mid green above, paler below. Perianth pale green on both faces. Androecium pale green, but staminodes with red-brown tips. Flowers in alcohol.
