Occurrence remarks Erect, little-branched herb to 0.7m. Leaves soft, bipinnatisect. Inflorescence terminal. Ray florets pink, disc florets yellow. Fruit an achene wtih recurved paired barbs. Locally abundant. Collected as part of the Northern Australia Quarantine Strategy. Specimen treated with ethanol for preservation and quarantine purposes and gamma irradiated at 25kGY.
