Supplied as "Notophyll rainforest on clay soil from rhyolite. Canopy: Franciscodendron, Cardwellia, Halfordia, Syzygium kuranda, Flindersia spp., Cryptocarya corrugata and Cryptocarya putida. Small trees and shrubs: Gossia spp., Bobea, Brackenridgea, Myrsine spp., Casearia costulata, Tasmannia and Polyosma alangiacea. Cyathea rebbecae very common."
