Organism remarks | 1. pileus and stipe bright orange-yellow; 2. covered with small orange hairs; 3. on wood. Basidiome developing as a small button; development pseudoangiocarpic. Pileus: central; convex-inrolled expanding to wavy-plane, pliant; surface covered with short glandular hairs; orange-yellow (6AB, 5A6-8); context thin, white. Lamellulae: adnexed or seceding; thick; distinctly spaced; with 2-3 tiers of lamellulae; anastomosing at base; 2-3mm deep; margin even. Stipe: 20-40 x 40-60mm; cylindrical, hollow; nearly smooth and white near apex; becoming yellow-orange, scaly-hairy below. Spore print: white Macrochemical Tests: 15% KOH: glandules on pileus staining reddish Mode of Life: mycorrhizal Odour: none Taste: mild. |
