Occurrence remarks Clumping rhizomatous sedge to 0.5m. Leaves basal and cauline. Culm triangular. 4-5 involucral bracts. Inflorescence a generally globular head but many with 1 or 2 secondary heads below major one. Glumes white-green. Uncommon: 2 plants seen.
