Occurrence remarks | Ascending herb with reddish stems. Flowers white. Smothering weed on many hillsides across island in full sunlight and partial shade. Chokes out other species. Not grazed by cattle. NB Stem galls with emergence holes similar to those made by tephritid flies observed on some plants. A gall fly biological control agent has been released on this species in Norfolk Island. |
