| Occurrence remarks | Tree; Canopy of: Sphalmium, Pouteria euphlebia, Balanops, Halfordia, Syzygium spp Elaeocarpus Mossman Bluff & Acmena hemilampra ssp. orophila. Small trees & shrubs: Wilkiea Mt Lewis, Schistocarpaea, Steganthera, Symplocos graniticola, Oraniopsis, Haplostichanthus Mt Finnigan & Linospadix. Canopy tree 18 m x 25 cm dbh, no buttresses. Trunk red-brown, bark non-descript. Leaves stiff, margin recurved when fresh. Old leaves turn yellowish. Old fruit remnants under tree. Occasional in area. Voucher for DNA analysis. about 10 canopy trees observed, 2 have recently died. |
