Occurrence remarks Naturalised tree to 4m high and some cone bearing at 2m high. Presumed parent tree (c. 50m N of collection area) planted above the fenced gardens area is c. 20m high. Bark grey and not fissured on naturalised trees but deeply fissured on presumed parent. Naturalised trees much wider at base than at apex, presumed parent spreading towards apex. Needles in pairs and to 8.5cm long. Female cones on naturalised trees to 8cm long and to 4cm wide, bent back along stem, either single or opposite on stems, cones initially tan, later dark brown to black. Female cones to 12cm long and to 10cm wide on presumed parent . Some cones on naturalised plants appear to have been torn open, possibly by cockatoos.
