Occurrence remarks Herbaceous rosette with prostrate or trailing leafy racemose inflorescences up to 10 cm high. Stems reddish green, rosette leaves shallowly crenate or toothed, glabrous,shiny and concolorous; inflorescence bracts mid green (or reddish on margin or when more exposed), leaf-like with one or two acute teeth on each side of lamina, indumentum sparse with trichomes antrorse, margin flat. Corolla pink to mauve (variable with exposure) with paler throat and darker veins throughout, anthers yellowish or brownish pink, pollen yellow. Mericarp yellowish brown.

Habitat
Supplied as "Growing in gravelly or sandy loam on flat or undulating land. Habitat adjacent to swamp, in Eucalyptus stellulata woodland to 15 metres high mixed with nearby E. dalrympleana (to 25 meters tall), closed ground layer with Acaena sp., Hydrocotyle sp., Isotoma purpurescens, Dichondra repens and Poa sieberi."
