Field notes Pileus 9.2-9.5 cm broad, plano-convex, even, dry to slightly tacky, tomentose to matted tomentose to nearly subtomentose, butter yellow or a dull yellow (4A7-6-5), with a sterile irregular appendiculate margin, whitish in colour or with some yellowish pigments as in disc. Flesh white, unchanging when exposed, 2 cm thick, with mild or no odour and mild taste. Tubes deeply adnexed to nearly free, pinkish flesh colour, staining brownish; pores 1 mm diameter. Stipe 8 cm long, 1.7 cm broad, equal, tapering at base, dry, coarsely alveolate-
