Supplied as "Lower slopes of steep basaltic valley with rocky brown heavy clays and loams. Regrowth vine forest dominated by Mallotus philippensis, Melia azederach, Pentaceras australe, Hodgkinsonia ovatiflora, Jagera pseudorrhus, Acronychia pauciflora, Croton acronychioides, Arytera divaricata and Austrosteenisia blackii. Growing in full sun on thin branchlet of Croton verreauxii."
