Occurrence remarks Canopy tree 16 m x 19 cm dbh, exudate white. Bark lacking features, buttresses absent. Outer blaze red, longitudinally striped. Calyx brown, corolla greenish. Branches very difficult to break, a great adversary. Uncommon in area. Many flowers/buds galled. Flowers in alcohol at CNS and BRI; 1-3 per fasicle. CNS Spirit Collection No. 16560. Tree

Supplied as "Notophyll rainforest on grey spewy soil derived from metasediments and quartzite. Canopy: Flindersia pimenteliana, Garcinia zichii, Balanops, Ceratopetalum virchowii, Syzygium endophloium and Beilschmiedia oligandra. Small trees and shrubs: Apodytes, Schistocarpaea, Coelospermum purpureum, Symplocos boonjee and Psychotria submontana."
