Occurrence remarks Erect, spreading shrub to 4 m high and to 6 m across, with numerous stems, branching close to base. Stems smooth, often reddish brown on the upper surface, green on lower surface. Phyllodes soft, glaucous, more strongly glaucous when young, dull. Pods pruinose. Hundreds of plants of various age classes, spread over several hundred metres, on both sides of the road. Appear to have been originally planted, now naturalised.

Supplied as "Open Eucalyptus largiflorens and E. leucoxylon dominated woodland. On beige sandy loam with buckshot. Associated taxa: Acacia dodonaeifolia, Acacia euthycarpa, Allocasuarina luehmannii, Austrostipa scabra, Brachyloma daphnoides, Chrysocephalum apiculatum, Dianella revoluta, *Ehrharta calycina, Hakea mitchellii, Melaleuca acuminata, *Plantago bellardii."
