Locality Lot 21 on Plan AB47, Lot 22 on Plan AB47 and lot 24 on Plan AB142, and is located approximately 41km W of Wandoan and 51km NNE of Yuleba in SE Qld.
Habitat The site lies within Province 25 (Taroom Downs) and Province 26 (Southern Downs) of the Brigalow Belt bioregion. The site is accessed via Horse Creek Road off the Yuleba-Taroom Road. Patchy woodland tending to open grassland in parts, on flood plain of major waterway. Canopy dominated by Eucalyptus camaldulensis, E. tereticornis and Angophora floribunda. Ground layer dominated by native grasses including Bothriochloa sp., Cyperus bulbosus, Dichanthium sericeum, Enteropogon acicularis, Fimbristylis dichotoma, Indigofera linnaei, Juncus sp., Oxalis sp., Panicum queenslandicum, Sporobolus creber. Sandy loam.
