Occurrence remarks Locally common (hundreds of plants) branched herb to 12 cm high. Roots pale brown, almost white. Stems brown with short white non glandular hairs and longer white gland-tipped hairs. Leaves opposite, mid green, glabrous above and with gland-tipped white hairs on leaf margins and on lower surface. Sepals 5, green at flowering with white gland-tipped hairs and membranous margins. Petals 5, white and shorter than sepals. Stamens 5, filaments white and anthers pink. Ovary with 3 white styles. Capsules green initially but brown with 5 apical teeth when open. Vegetation: Callitris glaucophylla Joy Thomps. & L.A.S.Johnson open forest with scattered Eucalyptus dealbata A.Cunn. ex Schauer and a few shrubs of Dodonaea viscosa Jacq. subsp. angustissima (DC.) J.G.West, Olearia elliptica DC. s. lat., Cassinia laevis R.Br. and with Austrostipa scabra (Lindl.) S.W.L.Jacobs & J.Everett subsp. scabra, Arthropodium sp. B, Cheilanthes distans (R.Br.) Mett., Daucus glochidiatus (Labill.) Fisch., C.A.Meyer & Ave-Lall. s. lat., Linaria arvensis (L.) Desf., Aristida ramosa R.Br., Hyparrhenia hirta (L.)
