Occurrence remarks Scraggly, fleshy herb to 20cm tall with a boab like appearance, with sparse foliage restricted to apex of branches; fruit green with a large nectary near the base of the pedicel; broken parts produce copious amounts of white sap.

Supplied as "Uncommon herbs on a elevated clay plain of cretaceous sediments of loamy light brown soil with open areas of gibber and patches of herbaceous vegetation to 30cm tall, common plants include Boerharvia, Portulaca, Trianthema triquetra, Dactyloctenium radulans and Osteocarpum scleropterum with less common plants including Iseilema vaginiflorum, Salsola australis, Neobassia proceriflora, Euphorbia tannensis subsp. eremophila, Sida corrugata, Sclerolaena ansiacanthoides and Maireana dichoptera."
