Occurrence remarks Erect much-branched shrub or sub-shrub. Leaves pale green, discolourous with rust-coloured veins (on undersides). Axillary and terminal inflorescences. Flowers greenish with crimson markings. Standard green with crimson stripes, wings pink, keel green. Pods brown, inflated, c. 1-1.5cm long, usually 2-seeded. Pods rupture while still on the plant, exposing glossy black or reddish black seeds.
