Locality Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. About 885 m at 8.5 degrees E of S of the summit of Big Hill. Mount Munro: western edge of the westernmost rainforest remnant of the northern tributary of Centre Creek.
Habitat
Supplied as "With Pomaderris apetala (to 9 m, main species), as part of the western edge of the rainforest remnant. Coprosma quadrifida and Pittosporum bicolor are the local understorey while Pimelea drupacea and Lepidosperma elatius form the lowest layer. The original dominant layer of Eucalyptus (probably globulus) was killed over 60 years ago."
