Field notes | Fern with short trunk, 10 high. Fronds 60-80cm long, with rusty mid brown scales at base. Sori reddish brown. Fronds covered with the epiphytic liverwort, Leptolejeunea, giving off a distinctly aniseed smell when crushed. |
