Occurrence remarks Annual herb 2-7 cm tall; leaves bright green; heads black. Most plants were in a 7 m stretch just above water edge or submerged. Probably at least 1,000 plants here, growing on edges of shallow pools. Another large group of several hundred was growing about 30 m W outside the reserve. The plants were common only where very few other plants were growing.
