Field notes | Basidiome large, compound, ca. 50 cm long x 30 cm across, composed of numerous overlapping lobes, radiating outwards from a more or less common point of attachment. Stipe 20-60 mm long, to 12 mm across. Individual lobes 6-15 cm across, concave, irregularly undulate, the upper surfae slightly sticky, closest to Grey-Brown Group 119A or B (RHS Colour Chart); the lower surface pale creamish closest to Yellow-Orange Group 19D or Yellow-Orange Group 20D. Neither surface discolouring when handled or cut. Spore print white. |
