Field notes | Flowers open 4:10pm. Sweet fragrance. Reflex not flat. Single clump against fence approx 0.5x0.5m. Strumae pale orange. Strumae attachment very pale, strongly kinked. Anthers pale lime green. Petals whorls consistent blue colour. Leaf blade projections not obvious other than towards the tip. Tip very hooked. Red colouration at base of leaf blade sheath. Leaf blade approx. 60-70cm high. Flower stems approx 90cm. Complete specimen collected in press. |
