Occurrence remarks Shrub to 1 m tall, in shaded situations, in bud to early flower. High in landscape, SE aspect, steep to gentle slope, skeletal red-white gritty sand over massive sandstone. Common. Growing in open woodland of Acacia pruinocarpa and A. aff. citrinoviridis over low scrub of A. aneura, A. rhodophloia over low heath of Senna artemisioides, Prostranthera albiflora, Eremophila forrestii, over hummock grass of Triodia spp. over low grass of Eriachne aristdea and Enneapogon sp.
