Field notes Herb to 20 cm high. Branches can be longer than 20 cm but are not erect when that long. Stems, leaves and involucral bracts dark green with glandular hairs and leaf surfaces concolorous. Ray florets white, c. 10 mm long; disc florets yellow. Cypselas maturing pale brown with 1 or 2 apically barbed pale brown awns.
