Occurrence remarks Shrub to 1.4m with unpleasant scent when bruised; stems up to 25mm thick at base, erect or ascending; leaves pale green withering yellow above, paler beneath, edged purple; bracts tipped purple; flowers violet, paler within; upper lobes darker at base; lateral lobes with white band.
