Occurrence remarks Hundreds of stems over several hectares. Population of hundreds of stems to 3 m high over several hectares; plant apparently extensively suckering. Population apparently sterile - no evidence of fruit; stamens cream, flowers fragrant. Only known location of taxon (A.C.Beauglehole pers. comm.).
