Field notes Erect spinescent shrub ca. 3 metres high, multistemmed, the bark grey, with wavy beige striations otherwise smooth. Leaves mid green, paler on the lower surface, strongly scented when crushed. Fruit immature, round, green, firm, with a strong soapy scent.
