Field notes | Tubers at 30 cm depth, elongated. All fruits on the 30 or so culms found had fallen; so those in spirit were picked from soil surface. On the few intact fruits found, 5 and 6 carpels were mature. Carpels all straight; fruits broad-ellipsoid. |

Supplied as "Growing in large swamp on private property on a creeklet headwater of Icy Creek, which drains into the Snowy River. Swamp fringed with Melaleuca squarrosa and densely filled with tall sedges, including Eleocharis sphacelata. Triglochin amongst these, with also Villarsia exaltata and herbaceous aquatics; on damp grey sandy peat at edges and in water 3 cm deep over black silty peat." |
