Occurrence remarks Spreading shrub 2m high. Leaves very hairy. Calyx green; corolla white. Flowers produced on +/- leafless branches. Occasional in area. Voucher for CSIRO Cape York littoral rainforest project.

Habitat
Supplied as "Semi-deciduous notophyll littoral rainforest on fine sand. Emergent: Gyrocarpus, Canarium, Miletia and Terminalia subacroptera. Low canopy: Ganophyllum, Strychnos lucida, Miliusa traceyi, Sersalisia, Pleurostylia, Clerodendrum and Cupaniopsis. Shrubs: Glycosmis, Eugenia, Micromelum and Diospyros geminata. Abrus and Panicum trichoides very common."
