Occurrence remarks | Spreading subshrub to 1.8 m. Stems zig-zagged, brown below, green above. Much branched. Leaves bipinnate with green, swollen pulvinus. Leaflets bluish green, folding on slight drying. Inflorescences [are] axillary heads on peduncles to 4 cm, subtended by leaf bracts. Corolla vivid yellow with protruding stamens. Anthers dull greenish-yellow. Pods clustered, flattened, 30 x 8 mm; brown when mature, silvery insice. Seeds brown, flattened. Small patch 2-3 sq. m. observed. Reported to be a recent arrival. Attributed to flood event in 2017. Subshrub |
