Bark grey and vertically dissected, difficult to remove from tree; older parts of branches glabrous and grey, newest branches yellow. Branches somewhat pendulous (some other trees nearby (but not at collection point) with markedly pendulous branches) although more spreading than pendulous on young plants. Leaves glaucous. Plants with many galls caused by galling insects and a few caused by Uromycladium tepperianum (Sacc.) McAlpine. Pods to 8 cm long and to 1.8 cm wide, green, margins obviously winged |
