Field notes Locally frequent prostrate shrub 15 cm high x > 1 m across. Flowers reddish black, truncated toothbrush type. Foliage bright lime green. Differs in floral and foliage morphology from typical upper mountains form of the species.

Pale sandy soil on sandstone."
