Field notes Herb to 30 cm high. Plants root along trailing stems. Plants are more rough to touch and more rigid than J.R.Hosking 2818 & M.J.Schroder. Stems green, 4-sided, upper parts with recurved white hairs. Leaves and stipules mostly in whorls of 6, dark green above, paler below with a white pointed tip and with obvious small white hairs on the margin. Flowers always at the end of branches. Corolla white with an obvious tube and with 4 lobes; stamens at the junction of lobes, filaments white and anthers green. Fruit forming below corolla.
