Occurrence remarks Perennial, erect, multistemmed, intricately branched dense spinescent shrub, 80-130 cm high x 60-300 cm across. Stems and branches rigid. Lower part of stem pale-brown. Branchlets mid-green, often with woolly indumentum giving slightly grey-green colour. Leaves grey-green. Appear to be dioecious
