Occurrence remarks Locally frequent (3 trees with flower buds, 2 others to 1.5 m high and without flower buds, and >100 to 10 cm high - the species is also common in Gordon Falls Reserve, Leura) tree to 8 m high. Bark smooth and grey, splitting with age. Leaves green, young leaves with reddish tinge, margins shallowly toothed. Stipules reddish and falling early. Spikes of flowers green at this stage, each flower subtended by a pink bract.
