Occurrence remarks Abundant. Densely tufted herb. Culms to 50 cm tall, yellow-brown in colour. Fruiting heads on upper most parts of culm, often terminal. Leaves linear to 30 cm long. VOUCHER for Millennium Seed Bank Project.

Habitat
Supplied as "Low open woodland of predominantly Red Bloodwood (Corymbia gummifera), Turpentine (Syncarpia glomulifera) and Eucalyptus consideniana. Dominant shrubs include Leptospermum trinervium, Banksia spinulosa, Acacia linifolia, Isopogon anemonifolius, Bossiaea rhombifolia. Dominant grasses include Anisopogon avenaceus, Entolasia stricta. Sandstone ridge, rocky sandy soil. Slight N facing aspect."
