Occurrence remarks Specimen collected: Single stemmed palm, overall height 11 m. Stem 7 m x 32 cm dbh. Leaf circular with stiff sided sector absent from the base. Fused area of blade quite large and very stiff with 1 main central valley. Total segment per leaf 73-81. Habitat
Supplied as "Bastard forest. Forests with Eucalyptus grandis, E. intermedia, Tristania suaveolens and Casuarina torulosa dominating. Some lesser rainforest trees, Alphitonia petriei, Litsea leefeana, Cupaniopsis foveolata, Endiandra sp., scattered in lower canopy.Shrub canopy crowded with rainforest species. Most palms seen were between 11-15 m tall overall, one individual 20 m tall. Some growing within the margins of true rainforest."
