Occurrence remarks | Locally frequent. Erect shrub, unbranched or a few ascending branches from c. mid-height. Infl. axes purple beneath indumentum. Young fruits green to purple. Anthers pale when flowers first open, rapidly becoming purplish. Pistils and styles purple. Several plants with signs of ?bird predation - apices removed. Approx. 200 plants within 300 m of parking area, 70% adult - of these, c. 40 hacked at half-height, clearly human damage; others trampled. 5 dupls ex damaged plants. |
