Occurrence remarks Spreading groundcover to 60 cm across, in full to late flower and fruit, dorsal petal yellow-brown. Prominent sandstone bluff and associated ridge-breakaway country with some rocky scree and drainage lines, high in landscape, steep to gentle slopes, skeletal gritty red-brown soil with rocks and gravelly material over massive fine-grained sandstone. Common on sandy pockets throughout ridge and on fringing sandsheet, especially in burnt areas. Growing with Grevillea spinosa, Grevillea wickhamii, Acacia aff. abrupta, with emergent Corymbia deserticola and Ficus brachypoda on breakaway cliff faces over Halgania glabra & Acacia daviesioides, over mid-dense hummock grass of Triodia schinzii & Triodia wiseana.
