| Event remarks | Tree of 97ft high, 35ft bole, circ. at breast height 37in., diam 12 inches. Fruit edible, turning through yellow to red. External appearance of bark brown with conspicuous transverse ridges irregularly spaced. Scrape exposes orange brown. Blzae x-section of bark mottles orange brown and cream, and showing banks of varying colour intensity. Bark 1in thick, very fibrous. Sapwood, pale brown almost cream. No smell or exudate. |
