Locality Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. About 660 m at 68.75 degrees from the summit of Mt Munro. Main gully of steep eastern slope of Mt Munro.
Habitat
Supplied as "Under the dense cover of an Olearia argophylla, at 4 m north-west of the bed of the gully that drains the high south-eastern saddle of Mt Munro. An Acacia melanoxylon forms a partial dominant layer over an understorey that is predominantly O. argophylla and Pomaderris apetala. There is one nearby Pittosporum bicolor. Dicksonia antarctica form the third layer as a strip along the bed's north-western edge. Collected, amongst Rumohra adiantiformis and Crepidomanes venosum, at 1.5 m up the eastern side of a D. antarctica."
