Occurrence remarks Only 3 plants seen. Culms absent, but fruits and separated carpels floating on water amongst the plant's foliage. Leaf +/- cylindrical throughout the length of the sheath and for about half the blade length, beyond the sheath summit, then graduating into a flattened distal portion. Leaves emergent above the water then curved over so the flattened extremities often float. Sheaths wide and overlapping. SPIRIT COLL. ALSO AT MEL.
