Supplied as "Near the crest of a dry rise burnt by the fire of October 2006. The two many-stemmed {Eucalyptus ambigua} give a c. 15% cover now. One had formed epicormic shoots. There are two long-dead {E. ambigua} at 10 m north-east and another at 10 m north-west. There are no saplings in sight. There were two {Allocasuarina monilifera} and shrubs of {Acacia genistifolia} and {Banksia marginata} when the rise was burnt. The c. 30% cover of lower shrubs was burnt to stumps. {Xanthorrhoea australis} (c. 15%), {Aotus ericoides} (tillering to 75 cm, c. 15%), one of the {A. monilifera} is tillering, {Lepidosperma concavum} (c. 5%), {Schoenus lepidosperma} (c. 10%), {Hypolaena fastigiata} (c. 15%), {Thelionema caespitosum}, {Gompholobium huegelii}, {Brachyloma ciliatum}, {Epacris impressa}, {Gonocarpus tetragynus}, {Lepidosperma filiforme} (reduced to c. 5%), {Baumea acuta}, {Stylidium armeria},. and {Selaginella uliginosa}." |
