Occurrence remarks | Spreading sedge with fleshy plant with leaves ca. 5mm wide and 200mm long. Large upright stem to 1m long bearing branched inflorescence. |

Event remarks | Site AN34. Open swampland draining from the base of the adjoining bauxite plateau from which water seepage keeps saturated grey soil covered with ca. 100mm of discharge that drains across a 3 degree slope to Peppen Creek to the east. Swampland dominated by sedges and other swampland forbs (Utricularia, Drosera, Eriocaulon, Stylidium, Lindernia), with a sparse shrubland of Melaleuca to 6m in height. (RE 3.3.14a; Gunness land unit 7b). |
