Disposition in collection
Occurrence remarks Localised in this small reserve, but common in nearby roadside (c. 1.5km away). Very few buds, mostly flowers. {A.stricta} present. Scattered over a limited area; population being less than 50 flowering plants. Leaves: single, lanceolate, hairy reddish-purle base; up to 120mm x 10mm. Flowers: varying in size from small to medium (for {A. dilatata} complex), with 'clubs' varying in colour but the majority being yellowy-brown; length of 'clubs' varying in length (3mm to 13mm) and width. Dorsal sepal following the line of the column and then incurved, lateral sepals held stiffly downwards at varying angles, petals sometimes with glands on the ends and held downwards at about 45 degrees. Fruits: no pollination evident. Nature of sample: Leaf. Purpose: DNA analysis. Person: M.A.Clements. Date: 08/10/2018. Inst.: CANB
